Who can raise on Pledzy
Campaigns are open to every kind of local business:
What people raise for
Your reason appears on your campaign card and powers the filters on browse, so people looking to help a shop buy equipment can find you.
What you need before you start
- A clear goal amount and a deadline, usually 30 to 45 days out.
- A short story: who you are, what the money does, why it matters now.
- A cover photo, plus a few more of your space, your team or your product.
- Two to four reward tiers people actually want — small ones matter most.
- Your business documents, for verification.
The launch process
- 1Build your campaign
Five guided steps with autosave and a readiness checklist that tells you what is still missing.
- 2Submit for review
A reviewer checks every campaign before it is published. You will either be approved or sent back with a note.
- 3Manage it live
Edit your page, post updates, extend the deadline, close early, and see every backer and the reward they claimed.
- 4Get paid
Your dashboard shows money raised, fees, and your payout after fees, with collected and awaiting-payment tracked separately.
What it costs
Nothing to launch. Pledzy keeps 5% of each pledge — 3% for verified nonprofits — and card processing of 2.9% + 30¢ per pledge goes to the payment provider. There are no listing, monthly or withdrawal charges.
