What comes out of a pledge
- Platform fee — 5%. Our only revenue. It covers review, hosting, support and the tools you use.
- Nonprofit rate — 3%. Verified nonprofit and community campaigns pay a reduced fee automatically.
- Card processing — 2.9% + 30¢. Paid to the payment provider, not to Pledzy.
- Nothing else. No listing fee, no monthly fee, no withdrawal fee, no fee if you never launch.

Backers only ever pay the amount they choose. Both fees come out of the payout, and every pledge records them, so the numbers on your dashboard match the ones here exactly.
Keep what you raise
Pledzy is not all-or-nothing. If a campaign closes below its goal, the business still receives everything that was pledged, minus the same fees. A goal is a target that creates momentum, not a cliff you fall off.
Payments today
Card payments are being connected. Until then, a pledge is recorded as a commitment: the backer is not charged, and the owner reaches out to collect. Your dashboard tracks collected and awaiting-payment amounts separately.
